On April 3, 2024, Ms. Petchdaw Tohminarn, advisor to the Minister of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI), disclosed that Ms. Supamas Isarapakdi, the Minister of MHESI, has implemented a policy allowing Muslim students to take leave to observe religious holidays without it counting as an absence or affecting their academic record. This announcement aligns with the MHESI's policy of "Study Well, Be Happy, Earn Income," which aims to prioritize student well-being and flexibility within the educational system. The quality of education should not diminish, and efforts will be made to enhance flexibility while ensuring students' happiness and academic excellence.
