Rajabhat University organized a 50-day
merit-making ceremony (Panyasamawar)
following the passing of Her Majesty
Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother,
on Friday, December 12, 2025, at
the President’s Office area, 1st
Floor.
During the ceremony,
university executives, faculty members,
and staff joined together
in
performing a royal merit-making rite.
Morning alms were offered to 10 monks
from Wat Ratchathiwat
Vihara,
followed by a dedication
ceremony conducted as a royal tribute.
The presiding chair lit incense and
candles in homage to the Triple Gem, and
the monks chanted Buddhist
prayers.
The ceremony continued
with the presentation of funeral cloth
(Mahabangsa-kul rite)
and the
offering of requisites to the monks. The
monks then chanted blessings
and
performed a water-pouring ritual to
confer
auspiciousness.
The ceremony was
conducted solemnly and respectfully,
filled with remembrance and
gratitude for Her Majesty’s
immeasurable royal benevolence,
with
executives and personnel attending in
unity.
