the Office of Academic
Services organized a training program
on
“Guidelines for
Quality Assurance Assessment and Writing
SAR at the Program Level Based on AUN-QA
Version 4.0.”
The project
was officially opened by
Associate
Professor Dr. Chutikarn
Sriviboon,
President of Suan Sunandha
Rajabhat University.
The
university was honored to welcome
Associate Professor Dr. Amphon
Nawawongsethian,
Dean of the Faculty
of Accountancy and Management, Southeast
Bangkok University,
as the guest
lecturer, who shared knowledge and
guidance in preparing for the AUN-QA
Version 4.0 quality assurance
assessment.
Executives, faculty members
from various faculties and colleges, as
well as interested participants attended
the training.
The program was held
across two days:
March 25, 2025 – A lecture on guidelines for program-level quality assurance based on AUN-QA Version 4.0
March 26, 2025 – Group workshops on writing the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) at the program level based on AUN-QA Version 4.0
The training took place at Chor Kaew Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Building 31, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.
Objectives of the Training
- To build knowledge and understanding of the application of AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance), a program-level quality assurance system under the ASEAN University Network. The aim is to establish a quality assurance mechanism and higher education standards among member universities in a unified direction.
- To enhance the quality of
academic programs and teaching and
learning for sustainable development, in
line with the ASEAN University Network
Quality Assurance (AUN-QA), which
comprises three dimensions:
- Strategic: Quality assurance at the institutional level
- Systemic: Quality assurance of the internal quality assurance system
- Tactical:
Quality assurance at the program or
curriculum
level

This
training program is primarily aimed at
enhancing knowledge and understanding
of
the application of AUN-QA
Version 4.0, a quality
assurance mechanism of the ASEAN
University Network,
as a guideline
for developing curriculum quality and
teaching in a unified direction,
with
the goal of sustainably improving the
quality of education.
AUN-QA
encompasses three dimensions:
the Strategic
dimension, which focuses on
institutional-level quality
assurance;
the Systemic
dimension, which strengthens internal
quality assurance mechanisms;
and the
Tactical
dimension, which emphasizes
curriculum-level quality.
Altogether,
these dimensions are interconnected in
building high-quality and sustainable
educational standards.
This
initiative also directly reflects
alignment with the Sustainable Development
Goals (SDGs),
particularly
Goal 4: Quality
Education, which seeks to
enhance the quality of education and
lifelong learning
through curriculum
standard development and quality
assurance systems.
It also
supports Goal 17: Partnerships
for the Goals, as it represents
academic collaboration
between Thai
universities and the ASEAN University
Network, driving Thai education towards
internationalization.
This, in turn,
will contribute to developing personnel
and institutions
with greater
competitiveness and the capacity to
promote sustainability in society.
