On 29 August 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 


The Office of Academic Services organized an expedited workshop on curriculum 

and course development for professional accreditation.

The workshop was officially opened by Asst. Prof. Dr. Natthaphat Kaewrattanaphat, Vice President for Academic Affairs.

This event was held in collaboration with the College of Communication Arts and academic experts, including:

Asst. Prof. Witcha Santhanaprasit, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs
Asst. Prof. Wiphanee Maen-in, Head of the Public Relations and Digital Corporate Communication Program
Asst. Prof. Raewadee Waiyawasana
Ms. Thidarat Choknakavaro, Senior Academic Officer

These experts served as speakers, providing knowledge and guidance on professional standards 

and curriculum development for lecturers from various faculties and colleges

—representing more than 60 programs across the university.

The workshop was held at Chor Kaew Meeting Room, Building 31, 5th Floor, 

Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, and was also conducted online. The faculties, colleges, 

and programs participating were as follows:

1. Faculty of Science and Technology – 12 programs
2. Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences – 7 programs
3. Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts – 6 programs
4. College of Innovation and Management – 9 programs
5. College of Allied Health Sciences – 7 programs
6. College of Logistics and Supply Chain – 6 programs
7. College of Hospitality Industry Management – 6 programs
8. College of Politics and Government – 4 programs
9. College of Communication Arts – 2 programs
10. Udon Thani Education Center – 3 programs

Project Objectives


The project aims to enable lecturers to plan and develop students’ professional skills aligned with their abilities
and interests while collectively driving Indicator 1.2.1, which concerns the percentage of programs receiving professional
accreditation—helping achieve the goals set in the Fiscal Year 2025 Action Plan and ensuring sustainable educational quality.

All of these efforts contribute to establishing high-quality and sustainable educational standards.

Addressing a National-Level Systemic Issue

This training was organized to address a crucial nationwide systemic problem:
the misalignment between academic curricula and labor market needs,
a challenge that directly affects graduate quality and employability.

The accelerated curriculum development workshop allowed faculty members to jointly revise course structures
to meet modern professional skill requirements—ranging from technology, communication,
and systems analysis to future skills increasingly demanded by employers.

Importantly, the workshop marked a significant starting point for accelerating the university’s quality indicators
related to the proportion of programs receiving professional accreditation,
which contributes to enhancing long-term graduate competitiveness.

Concrete Outcomes

As a result of the workshop, many programs were able to develop curriculum improvement plans
and submit applications for professional accreditation more quickly and effectively. This has strengthened
the overall educational system, particularly in producing graduates whose competencies match industry demands.

Representatives from various faculties reflected that the workshop created a shared understanding of
professional criteria for each discipline and clarified the direction for sustainable curriculum development.

These changes help reinforce the educational structure and enhance the university's ability to produce graduates
with globally competitive capabilities—benefiting both the institution and the broader region.

Alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)


This project aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, especially:

SDG 4: Quality Education – by improving curricula to ensure that students receive standardized education
and acquire practical skills necessary for real-world employment, in line with SDG Target 4.4,
which emphasizes increasing youth with professional skills and competencies.

SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth – since professional accreditation increases graduates’ employability
and readiness for the labor market.

SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals – reflected through the collaboration among various faculties, colleges,
and experts in enhancing curriculum quality across the entire university system.

With its tangible outcomes and positive impact on curriculum quality, learner skill development,
and the university’s capacity to produce a workforce suited to the modern economy,
this workshop has served not only as an academic activity but also as a key mechanism driving the university
toward higher-quality, sustainable education.

It stands as a model demonstrating meaningful and sustainable contributions
to both the education system and broader development efforts.
